“The 2009 Font de la Figuera Blanco is an intriguing blend of 85% Viognier, 10% Grenache Blanc, and 5% Chenin Blanc. In this vintage it went through malolactic fermentation which could have contributed to its round, smooth texture. Fragrant aromas of pit fruits, melon, and baking spices are followed by a concentrated, vibrant wine with excellent volume and length that should drink well for several more years.”
