“(a blend based on 85% viognier) Yellow-gold. Complex scents of dried apricot, fig, honey and candied ginger, with notes of white flowers and orange peel. Distinctly wild on the palate, showing deep orchard and pit fruit and candied citrus flavors joined by vanilla and sweet butter. Manages to be both rich and lively, and finishes on a sweet, honeyed note, with hints of fresh orange and flowers. This is more exotic and open-knit than the 2008 version.”
